...Just a few weeks until AP  Testing...  With that in mind, review literary terms in the "Essential Literary Terms" packet!

 

AP Exam Review Sessions Schedule, room 204.

During STAR TESTING

For those who are unable to attend during STAR Testing, due to doublle-scheduled AP Practice Sessions (AP Calculus, AP Physics), and those who need extra practice, above and beyond the STAR Test sessions:

     Tuesday, April 21        2:30-4

     Tuesday, April 28        2:30-4

 

Continue reviewing on your own.  Annotate the stack of poetry prompts that were distributed in class or at the review session. 

 

Select 15 Open Questions promts - 5 difficult for you to answer; 5 challenging; 5 you think are easy.  (yeah, give yourself a little break!)  Select titles that you think you might be able to use for these prompts; write thesis statements for each promp

 

Read A Portait of the Artist as a Young Man, chapter 1.  Begin your notes on pairs of motifs Joyce uses in this chapter.   Due  Tuesday, April 21.

 

Write a stream of consciousness emulation, based on an epiphanic experience as your younger self.  Due  Tuesday, April 21.

HUMANITIES THROUGH LITERATURE

  

Read Act Three of The Tempest.  Continue taking notes for characterization!

 

Respond to "A Perfect World" - create your own idea of a utopian society!
